This website is owned and operated by Jen Danskine trading as Saltwater Sketches. All information, services and products are available to you under the condition of acceptance of all conditions and terms stated in these terms and conditions.

Terms and conditions may be periodically changed, and additions made and we reserve all rights to do so.
All content within this website and all associated property rights are solely owned by Saltwater Sketches, this includes images, logos text and graphics. Use of any of these materials is strictly prohibited.
Privacy Policy
By using this site you acknowledge and give us permission to gather your contact details for the purposes of providing you with the goods and services offered within this site. Any personal information provided by you will only be used for providing you the services offered within this website, and only for those purposes.
We will not knowingly share your personal information with a third party except when required by law.
Pricing
All pricing of our goods and services is in Australian dollars.
Prices stated on this website are subject to review and change and we reserve all rights to do so.
Cancellations
Cancellations made by us
We will always do our best to make sure all goods and services are available as advertised on our website. However, we reserve the right to cancel all and any goods and services offered within this website without notice for any reason.
In the event we have to make a cancellation or cannot supply the goods and services advertised that you have purchased you will be offered the option to reschedule or be given a full refund. Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the goods and services purchased and we are not liable for any other loss associated with the cancellation.
Cancellations made by you
If you need to make a cancellation or reschedule please let us know as soon as possible.
Attending a community group painting class:
A single trial class:
- As venue cost is paid upfront and student spaces are accounted for, if you cannot attend a class/ or do not show up no refund will be given.
Art series classes:
- As venue cost is paid upfront and student spaces are accounted for, if you cannot attend a class/ or do not show up no refund will be given.
For a bespoke painting class/ group booking at your venue:
For a bespoke painting class/ group booking at a Saltwater Sketches venue:
- We require notice of 7 days or more prior to the scheduled event in order to be able to provide a full refund.
- Anything under 7 days, prior to the scheduled event you will have the opportunity to reschedule upon payment of a service fee of $20 per person.
If you notify us within less than 72 hours prior to the scheduled event no refund shall be given, and you will not be eligible to reschedule.
Private Functions
When booking a private function, a non-refundable deposit of $300 is required at the time of booking to secure your time slot.
The balance must be paid not less than 14 days prior to the scheduled booking.
In the event you cancel your booking no refund will be given.
In the event you need to reschedule your event the following fees will apply.
- 15-30 days notice from the event date, 20% of the deposit amount is due
- 14 – 8 days notice 50% of total booking fee is due
- 7 days or less notice 75% of total booking is due.
In the event we are required to cancel a booking or reduce numbers of a booking due to government requirements we will offer you the opportunity to reschedule your booking and/or a refund for the numbers that need to be reduced.
Photography
By booking one of our events you consent to being photographed by our staff during the event and give consent for us to use any images for promotion of our business. You acknowledge that all such material is the property of Saltwater Sketches.
We encourage you to take photos during the session and publish them on social media. However, it is forbidden to take photos of other attendees without their express permission to do so.
It is forbidden to take photos of a minor unless you are the parent or guardian of the minor to be photographed.
Alcohol
During events, we maintain a responsible drinking policy and reserve the right to remove any person whom is intoxicated or deemed to be intoxicated by our staff. Also we reserve the right to deny access to the premises to any person deemed to be intoxicated by our staff.
In the event any person is removed from or denied access to the premises no refund of ticket or tickets shall be given.
It is prohibited for any person under the age of 18 to consume alcohol on the premises and we reserve the right to ask for proof of age at any time whilst on our premises if alcohol is being consumed. Anyone under 18 consuming alcohol on the premises will be removed from the premises and no refund shall be given.
Personal belongings
It is the responsibility of patrons to take care of their personal belongings and Saltwater Sketches takes no responsibility for any damage or loss that may occur to personal belongings while on the premises.
Respect of staff and other patrons
All patrons by booking through this website agree to conduct themselves in a respectful manner towards all other patrons and staff members. Saltwater Sketches reserves the right to remove from the premises any persons deemed by staff to be behaving disrespectfully, in which case no refund shall be given.
Liability
Saltwater Sketches is in no way responsible for any losses or damages incurred either by use of this website or in the purchase of any goods and services provided through this website and takes no responsibility to the extent permitted by law for any losses or damages. It is the responsibility of any persons using this website or purchasing goods and services to assess the accuracy and validity of any information provided on this website. By using this website and/or purchasing goods and services through this website you accept all responsibility and indemnify Saltwater Sketches against any claims for losses or damages incurred as a result of use of this website.
By using this website you agree that no damages to your computer or devices that may occur in the use of this website are the responsibility of Saltwater Sketches.
