Inner Achemy Art Therapy

Art therapy allows us to use creativity to process the thoughts and emotions we experience in our day to day lives. We exist of conscious and un-conscious thoughts, and can carry old stories about ourselves for years, which can hold us back from living life to our fullest potential.

Yet we all have the capability to reach beyond our limiting boundaries and beliefs to find new inspiration and new directions. Art therapy can help build a bridge between the subconscious and conscious to explore difficult emotions and feelings. And you don’t need to have any artistic talent to try this incredibly beneficial form of therapy.

Art therapy has also been proven to relieve stress, reduce anxiety and depression, help with pain management and relaxation, encourage self-exploration, encourage collaboration with others and help with processing trauma from PTSD. This mindful practice can be a wonderful addition to other therapies or can be used by itself.

Art Therapy in Preschools

Through art therapy, young children get the opportunity to strengthen their sense of belonging and connecting to others and their community as a whole. In a fast-paced world, art therapy invites children to slow down and express their emotions through art. It also helps to regain their imagination, exploration and a curious sense of creativity.

Art Therapy at School

Art workshops can help children build up resilience, emotional regulation, reduce anxiety and help promote self-esteem and self- confidence inside and outside their school environment. These mindful workshops are also a wonderful inclusion for our heard working teachers to help with self-care and reducing stress and anxiety.
